Call center, 24 hours/day
A person in medical need calling SOS Médecins can be assured of a quick answer it is day or night time. The people taking the calls are trained for emergency calls and are supervised by a Doctor. They redirect the calls based on the gravity of the situation. They can at any time contact a Doctor that will either intervene directly at the patient's house or give some advise over the phone.
Experienced Doctors
Doctors are recruited based on their professional experience. Strong experience in 'general' and emergency medicine are required to work for SOS Médecins.
Sophisticated Tools for Diagnosis & Therapy
Doctors have a lot of sophisticated medical material in their vehicule and are therefore very well equiped when they visit their patients.
Total Availibility
Doctors working for SOS Médecins France do not have a consulting room. They are therefore fully available and can respond to any emergency timely and efficiently.
Quick intervention
All of the vehicles are equipped with cell phones so that Doctors can be reached in case of emergencies.
